There is no denying that summertime and its BBQs and pool parties are here — and we’re all in a frenzy to look good. Yes? No? I take that as a yes. So I caught up with the lovely ASHLEY BORDEN – celeb trainer and star of E’s REVENGE BODY with Khloe Kardashian so she could give us some tips on how to look and feel our best. I know we’re all looking for easy ways to debloat for our swimsuit wear! So listen up. She’s the best in the health and wellness industry and everything she says is bible.



REBOUNDING

I’m a big fan due to its numerous effects – from fighting osteoporosis, boosting your immune system and especially for healing everyone’s numerous and ever-increasing gut issues. And it’s perfect to do indoors when it’s too hot and humid outside. I love the Bellicon!

TURMERIC

I’m a huge fan of healing from the inside out. I take an organic turmeric pill daily and it’s the best anti-inflammatory supplement out there.

DRY BRUSHING

There’s a secret Korean woman inside me — and I’m a huge advocate of Korean massages and dry brushing! Brush upward toward the heart before you step into the shower. This boosts your lymphatic system and revs up the metabolism. And it feels so good!

DRINK YOUR WATER

Drink half your body weight in ounces. For example, if you weight 120 pounds, then be sure to get at least 60 ounces of water. Stop listening to hot vs. room temperature vs. cold water being better for you. Drink it however you like it – you’re bound to up your water intake that way. I love drinking my water through a wide mouth Nalgene bottle.

BREAK A SWEAT FOR AT LEAST 20 MINUTES

Activate all your muscles and get that heart going for at least 20 minutes! I love breaking a sweat through strength training – it increases bone density, ups muscle mass (which makes your metabolism like that of a teenage boy’s), improves sleep and reduces depression and anxiety.
