CAMP: Next Gen Music Fest: Meet the Next Generation of Los Angeles Music

Los Angeles has no shortage of music festivals, but with CAMP: NEXT GEN MUSIC FEST, we will be doing something different.

On August 30, 2026, CAMP takes over The Underground Museum in Los Angeles for a one-day celebration of emerging artists, young musicians and the next generation of music and culture.

I’m incredibly excited to be co-founding and co-producing CAMP with my business partner, Lauri Firstenberg around one simple idea:

Celebrate the next generation of artists before everyone else discovers them.

While so many music festivals are built around today’s established headliners, CAMP is dedicated to tomorrow’s.

A New Los Angeles Music Festival for Emerging Artists

CAMP was created to give talented young artists something beyond another stage to perform on. We want to create a community where emerging musicians can perform, meet one another, connect with people in the music industry and be discovered by a new audience.

Our inaugural lineup brings together an incredible group of young musicians from some of our most exciting creative communities.

Artists performing at CAMP include students and recent alumni from GRAMMY Camp, along with young artists connected to Crossroads School, Oakwood School, LACHSA, Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA/CSARTS), The Buckley School, Harvard University, USC Thornton School of Music, Columbia University and more.

We’re also thrilled to welcome Kim Theory (recently featured in Rolling Stone), fresh off their performance at Lollapalooza, as part of our growing lineup of exceptional emerging talent. Yoyoka will also be performing on drums with her band, Late Autumn.

Where the Music Industry Meets the Next Generation

One of the things that makes CAMP especially exciting is the opportunity to bring young artists together with the larger Los Angeles music and creative community.

Live Nation will be on site recording the festival, and CAMP is also receiving support and coverage from members of the Los Angeles music and media community, including Lyndsey Parker / Licorice Pizza and LAist.

For me, CAMP is about more than discovering a great new band. It’s about creating a place where the next generation of musicians, artists, creators and music fans can find one another.
