THE MUSEUM OF ILLUSIONS – LOS ANGELES :: MY PHOTO JOURNAL

On my daughter’s 8th birthday, we took her to the Museum of Illusions, one of the best things to do in Hollywood.

And I’m glad we did. It’s a super fun experience/museum with multiple rooms where you can bring your kids and take fun and memorable pix and creative selfies. It’s an Instagram curation haven. (Akin to the Museum of Ice Cream — but with cool 3-D paintings and an upside-down house.)

If you can, get the VIP all-access package. You get to skip the line (which trails around the corner) – and yes, that line is even for those who have purchased advanced tickets.

The all-access package allows you access to both rooms – the 3D Illusions Rooms and the Upside Down House that will take your breath away, transporting you to a world of fantasy and imagination!

Here are some fun photos I took of the family so you can see what you have in store!

3 D ILLUSIONS

They have over 30 3D illusions which create eye-popping pics, inspired by cartoon, art, current events, Hollywood flicks and more! My favorites were the skyscraper, the African safari — and kicking Donald Trump’s a……..

How to manage infertility is the million-dollar question. Many of my friends are currently enduring this battle. The laborious efforts of the search for motherhood and family, unable to bring a child to life. Some suffer miscarriages — and others haven’t been able to conceive at all. In addition to my friends,  6.7 million women of…

JENNIFER LEHR is a newfound teacher of mine — she goes against the grain in our traditionally linear parenting world. And what she has pulled together from life’s resources, experiences and her own mentors has been encapsulated in her book PARENTSPEAK – and it’s a gem. For those who haven’t yet read LEHR’s WALL STREET JOURNAL essay,…

Last year, I published a piece on The Miscarriage Taboo | An Interview with the Invisible Mother. I discussed how one in four pregnancies result in miscarriage. And regardless of how miscarriages just happen and a million reasons can account for them (biology, hormones, an immune system response, etc.), mothers very often feel as though it’s their fault.…
